Course Description
If you ship dangerous goods by air on either passenger or cargo airlines, you must comply with the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the legally binding document Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) requires that employees involved in the shipping, packaging, labeling, documenting, or loading/unloading the dangerous goods for air shipment are required to receive training (IATA DGR 1.5). The IATA DGR requires recurrent training at least every 24 months. This training will satisfy the minimum training requirements specified in the IATA DGR for initial and recurrent training.
